Quiet Care
Evaluation:
A personalized interview is conducted to assess the problem and to make therapeutic recommendations.
Education and Prevention: This eight-part intervention is designed to give information about substances of abuse and to teach healthy coping skills.
HELP! For Families:
This is a series of four informational sessions for those most closely affected by a loved one's alcohol or drug use. The purpose is to help family members and friends cope more effectively with a substance abuser and to provide a supportive environment where the family concerns are understood and addressed.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP):
This eight-week group counseling program is designed to allow participants to continue working and living in the community while actively involved in treatment. The IOP combines group treatment, education and family involvement.
Sessions meet three times per week, at hours that are convenient and do not interfere with work. Participants are also recommended to attend 12-step meetings.
Relapse Prevention:
Because addiction is a chronic disease that is prone to relapse, QuietCare offers a Relapse Prevention Group. This group is designed for those who have completed a primary treatment program and have had successful remission for a period of time, but subsequently returned to using substances. Follow-up attendance at Aftercare Group is recommended.
Aftercare Group:
Aftercare follows completion of the Intensive Outpatient Program or Relapse Prevention Group. This small group meets weekly and is led by a substance abuse therapist.
New Passages
