Madison Center offers the American Red Cross Standard First Aid Course taught by certified instructors. Instruction is lecture combined with hands-on practice to learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat- and cold-related emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning. Advanced registration is required. There is a $20 fee for non-Madison Center staff to attend First Aid certification class. Participants may choose to attend either First Aid class session from 8 AM- 12 Noon, or 12:30 PM- 4:30 PM. Certification cards will be mailed to you within 3 weeks of completing the class. |
